But often the moment when I hv to do it, I cave in. I either dont say anything, or worse still say something silly creating a foot-in-the-mouth effect. It's scary. I wish I had the same courage as my subconscious. Whenever I have read your blog, I had the feeling that you are not the average lady; you are a modern day Jhansi Rani or something like that :P I don't know what to do about these things. I have seen people religiously dump their waste outside when there is a bin just 5 feet away. One initiative which I'm really proud of is the daily garbage disposing in our housing colony in my hometown. We have managed to make our neighborhood a mostly litter-free one. (At least, none of the residents litter.) Hot and Dirty... Junk I dont worry about..either you can shame them into picking up or you can pick it up, or some cleaner might. What worries me is the Paan..the resultant long distance deCaprio shaming spit...once its out..there is no going back/ picking up. What do we do about that? Ban Paan? Have bins? Have anti vandal paint on corners where spit collects?
